Your data
DSB Talent Network privacy notice
Version 1.2, effective 19 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Data Skill Business Morocco (9 rue Al Banafssaj, Résidence Jamal, 2nd floor, no. 4, Mers Sultan, Casablanca, Morocco), which operates DSB Data Delivery, is the controller of your data. Questions and requests: info@datascalebusiness.io.
What this is
The Talent Network is our network of Data professionals. You join it by applying on this site, or when a member of our team creates your file from a CV you sent us another way; in that second case we write to you as soon as the file exists, to tell you so and point you to this notice.
What we collect
- Your identity and contact details: first name, last name, e-mail, phone, location, LinkedIn profile if you give it.
- Your CV, as you sent it.
- What you declare about your background: the pool you aim for, your years of experience, your responsibilities, your skills and their level, your certifications, a public work if you cite one, your languages, your availability.
- What we observe along the process: the notes of the qualification call, the outcome of the technical assessment, the decisions taken on your file with their dates, the messages we send you.
- If you take the AI-assisted technical assessment: the recording of the session (voice and video), its transcript and the code or answers you produce. That session has its own consent, asked before it starts, which describes exactly how it runs and who its providers are.
What you declared and what we verified are kept in separate fields; we never overwrite one with the other.
Why
For one purpose: to evaluate your profile, qualify you for our network and offer you missions that match you at our clients. We use your data for nothing else, we never sell it, and nothing you give us is used to train an artificial intelligence model.
How we decide
An engine of explicit, versioned rules reads your file on receipt and prepares a reading for our team. It is only an aid: no decision about you is taken by a program. Every decision — moving to the next step, asking for information, closing a file, verifying you, presenting your profile to a client — is taken by a DSB person and recorded with its author and date. The AI-assisted assessment produces a proposal that a human assessor confirms or corrects; only their reading counts.
On what basis
Your consent, given when you submit your application, and the steps taken at your request to join the network. You may withdraw your consent at any time; your file is then closed and handled as described under "How long".
Who has access
DSB’s Talent Operations team, assessors and management, to the extent they need it; every access to your file is logged. Your profile is presented to a client only after a human decision, for a specific mission, first without your name or contact details; your identity is shared only afterwards, when the mission takes shape. Our technical providers access your data only to host and run the service: Vercel Inc. (application hosting, a US company, running in Frankfurt), Neon Inc. (database and document storage, Frankfurt, European Union), Resend Inc. (sending our e-mails) and PostHog (audience measurement, hosted in the European Union). The providers of the assessment session are named in its own consent.
Where your data is
In the European Union, in Frankfurt: the database, your CV and the recordings are stored there, and the application runs there. The application’s host, Vercel Inc., is a US company whose worldwide network receives requests at the point closest to the visitor and keeps the technical logs; that limited transfer is covered by its contractual clauses.
Audience measurement
We count visits to this site’s public pages with PostHog, hosted in the European Union. This measure sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, creates no profile and does not record your browsing; it keeps the page viewed, the approximate country and the campaign parameters of the address, and your IP address is not retained. The application and assessment pages are not measured. We honour your browser’s “Do Not Track” signal.
Recording of your visit
On the presentation pages, the talent pool pages and this page, we record how the visit unfolds — the pages seen, cursor movements, clicks — to understand what gets in the way. The application form and the technical assessment pages are never recorded: the recording stops as soon as you enter them. Anything typed into a field is masked before it is sent, and the recording carries neither your name nor your contact details. It is kept for at most one month, then deleted. You may object by writing to us, or by turning on “Do Not Track” in your browser, which we honour.
How long
- A closed file (application not retained, withdrawal, file without follow-up) is anonymised twenty-four months after it closed.
- A file with no activity at all for twenty-four months is anonymised.
- If you are a verified talent, your file is kept while you are active in the network; after twenty-four months without any exchange we ask you by e-mail whether you wish to stay; without an answer within ninety days your file is anonymised.
- The video recording of your assessment session is deleted six months after the decision taken on your file; its transcript follows the file.
- The host’s technical logs are kept thirty days at most.
Anonymising means replacing your identity with a marker and deleting your CV and recordings; decisions and their dates remain, with no person behind them, for our statistics.
Your rights
You may access your data and obtain a complete copy, have it corrected, object to its processing, ask for its deletion or restriction, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@datascalebusiness.io. We answer within one month; a deletion is applied within thirty days and confirmed. These rights are those of Moroccan law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data; if you live in the European Union you also have the rights of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country. In Morocco the competent authority is the CNDP (cndp.ma).
Security
Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS). Your CV and recordings are reachable only through short-lived signed links, for authorised and authenticated people. Our technical logs contain no personal data.
Updates
